why does my network connection keep going out every few hours over here??????

man this is bs, just signed up for comcast and this is what keeps happening..

every 5 hours it seems my network connecton will go out on my laptop, but my desktop operates fine.

so i have to keep calling the router manufactuerer for tech support (3 times today) for them to get me back online.

this just started happening today for some reason out of nowhere.

anyone know why this keeps hapening or what i can do to prevent it?

yes theres some setting that controls that.

i bought a switch and plugged the wireless router and a normal router into it. then plugged the connections into normal router

now when the wirless reacquires its very fast and doesnt drop out much

mine is dlink 524 wireless
